Life is Too Short

Life is too short…
To carry yesterday’s anger into today.
To worry about things that might never happen.
Not to take the time to hug your children.
To miss the fresh start of a new day.
To put off telling a friend why they are special to you,
To carry the heavy load of bitterness every day.
To take the time to smile at your neighbor.
To forget to count the blessings of each day.
To refuse to say, “I’m sorry”.
To thank someone for trying to understand you.
To allow someone to steal your joy.
Not to stop to admire the beautiful world around you.
To miss moments of laughter with family and friends.
To bear the burden of unforgiveness.
To not surrender bondage for freedom.
Not to cherish the sound of your children calling for you.
To work alone on your difficulties, when God will help you.
To trust that you can make things right with God another day.
Yesterday is over, and nothing can be changed.
Tomorrow is not promised.
All we have is today…
What are you going to do with it?
I’m asking for others to add to the list, please.
Send it in a comment.
